45 Hamilton Terrace London NW8 9RG
Description
T008: Horse Chestnut - fell to ground level. The base and stem of tree is extensively colonised by Rigidoporus ulmarius. This causes a cubical brown rot of the wood, resulting in the hollowing of the stem and potential for whole tree failure at base. The brackets are tiered from the base of the tree up to at least 100mm up the stem. Due to the location and extent of the decay, it would not be safe to leave the tree standing.
