Description

T1 Pyrus (Pear) : Reduce crown height and lateral spread by approximately 1m to 2m and undertake selective crown thinning by approximately 25%. The proposed works constitute routine cyclical maintenance intended to reduce the overall size and density of the crown whilst maintaining a balanced and natural form appropriate to the species and setting. Selective thinning and deadwood removal will improve airflow and light penetration through the canopy whilst reducing excessive fruit loading and associated future management pressures. The works are also intended to improve overall crown symmetry and maintain the tree within a suitable scale for its location.
