Description

We would like a tree branch that overhangs our garden to be cut back. The tree is a silver birch tree which is located in a neighbouring garden. We have two silver birch trees which are very close to our property, located in neighbouring gardens, with branches from both overhanging our garden. This makes our garden very shady and dry in summer and plants that we put in struggle to thrive. We would like some branches of one of these trees, which is located in the property to the rear of our garden,, to be cut back to allow more light into our garden. We have a beautiful small Acer underneath the tree which may flourish with more light. The silver birch in question is located in the garden of 6 York Road, SK4 4PQ (to the back right when looking at the York Riad property). The owners of this property have agreed to our request for the pruning to go ahead. The tree surgeon we have spoken has advised that the integrity of the tree will not be undermined by this pruning.
