Notification of intent to carry out Tree Surgery Works to No. 1 Tree within a Conservation Area. T1 - Cedar of Lebanon., 1. Prune back lowest 2 branches over parking by 2m. Raise remainder of lower canopy over parking area to 4m in line with the underside of the lowest limb over the parking area. 2. Raise the canopy/prune back where its growing over and close to the magnolia and Crataegus giving them at least 2m space, 3. Crown clean, removing any hazardous branches, prune back old stubs from historical lost branches & remove significant deadwood over 25mm, 4. Install 4 tonne (4T) bracing to replace old bracing which has been enveloped by growth from main stem & is also causing damage by strangulation. Once the new bracing is installed, cut out the old strap to stop damage to the main stem, 5. Old damaged bracing higher on NE main stem to also be removed , 6. Install new 4T bracing at 8m from the very top between the two main leading stems to mitigate the compressed major union at 6m from the base where the two leaders begin, 7. Sever ivy on low limb to NW where the ivy growth is creeping outwards.
