The development consists of the installation of 131kWp of Solar panels, located on existing roofs at the site . The vast majority of the electricity produced will be consumed on site. The installation has been specifically designed to reduce any visual impact in the following ways: 1. The Panels are to be mounted on existing buildings. 2. The panels will be mounted flush to the roof and thus are considered to be unobtrusively located and are designed to have minimal visual impact on the surrounding area. 3. The panels are mounting leaving 1m gap around the perimeter of the roofline 4. The panels are designed with etched glass and various forms of technology to absorb the sunlight to maximise electricity production and thus minimise any glare.
