Reason: The tree has outgrown its immediate location, being surrounded by patio and restricted rooting conditions. Tree excessively blocks light to property and neighbouring properties while also causing damage to adjoining property fence line, and causes issues with drainage and gutter blockages, resulting in damp issues at neighbouring property. Due to its limited arboricultural quality and constrained growing environment it has been categorised as C1 in accordance with BS5837:2012 Applicant is happy to replace tree with a more suitably sized native species or ones known to provide benefits to local wildlife and species which are not considered invasive in Hackney.
