T1 Azara microphylla: Remove the stem within 1m from the main stem and allow compartmentalisation - Fell right hand stem down to approx. 5ft high pole to avoid leaving a large wound too close. Thin remainder of crown by 15% to reduce weight from main union at base of tree. Balance crown by selectively pruning over extended lateral and vertical growth. Remove major dead wood and any crossing/rubbing branches This tree does not react well to heavy pruning so therefore I think the best bet is to thin the crown and re-balance overextended lateral and vertical growth.
