1 Pine Close Great Coates North East Lincolnshire DN37 9PN
Description
The tree is in my neighbours garden at 1 Pine Close with branches overhanging our garden. I believe it is an Ash tree. The tree itself is not a problem but the bird droppings from the birds that use the tree are a daily hazard causing damage to our artificial lawn, fencing, washing and to my dogs. The overhang from the branches reaches over 2/3 rds of my lawn, which is coveted in droppings daily. We have to hose the lawn and scrape the droppings up, they cause staining to the bricks bordering the lawn and to the fencing. My dogs frequently come in with bird droppings on their fur, this can cause irritation as well as being really unpleasant. We spent over ?5k last year having the lawn laid, with new fencing and it is being ruined. I have applied over the last two years for works to the tree and been granted permission, however I would like a visit from someone to look at longer term options to help manage this issue. The tree is very lopsided with a lot of weight on my neighbours side and at some point may lean even more than it does currently. The tree is 18m tall and the tree surgeon suggests reducing the width by 1.5m from property, clean out dead wood.
