Notification of intent to carry out Tree Surgery Works to No. 3 Trees within a Conservation Area. T1 - Mature Bay to be repollarded to fence height (6-8ft). T2 - Semi Mature Corkscrew Willow to be repollarded to fence height (6-8ft). T3 - Pittosporum to be repollarded at fence height (6-8ft). Re-pollarding these at 6-8ft will reduce the current risk of limb failure around surrounding structures as well as becoming a more appropriate size for the garden and properties in close proximity. Bay, Corkscrew Willow and Pittosporum are different species that all tolerate pollarding well. Pollarding will also reduce the rate of root growth, preserving building structure and underground services.
