1 - 12 Castle Grove Pontefract WF8 1GW
Description
G1 - Row of Sycamore, Ash and London Plane Trees - Crown Lift to provide approximately 5 metres ground clearance over car parking spaces. In addition, the works will help to reduce the density of lower canopy growth overhanging parked cars, thereby lessening issues associated with leaf fall, sap deposition, and general debris, which are currently causing a nuisance to residents. All works will be carried out in accordance with good arboricultural practice, with pruning limited to the minimum necessary to achieve the specified clearance. The natural form and amenity value of the trees will be retained as far as practicable, and no excessive or unnecessary pruning will be undertaken. These works form part of ongoing tree management to balance residential amenity with the long-term health and structural integrity of the tree group.
