Replacement of existing timber sliding sash windows to a terraced dwelling, comprising one front bay window and one front bedroom window, and one rear living room window and one rear bathroom window, with new double-glazed uPVC sliding sash windows on a like-for-like basis. The proposed windows will replicate the existing design, proportions, and operation, including vertical sliding sashes, glazing bar configuration, and frame dimensions. No alteration to existing window openings is proposed. The replacement windows are designed to closely match traditional painted timber sash windows, incorporating slim sightlines, run-through sash horns, authentic astragal bars, external putty-line detailing, a 35mm meeting rail, deep bottom rails, and mechanically jointed frames.
