107 Streathbourne Road SW17 8RA
Description
Tree Species: Bay Laurel (Laurus nobilis) - mature shrub/small tree ('Tree 1'). Location: Rear garden, positioned immediately adjacent to side boundary wall with neighbour. Proposed Works: Fell to ground level and remove stump. Reason for Proposed Works: The tree (which I understand is actually a shrub) is oversized for its location, planted very close to a boundary wall and causing significant year round shading to the mature olive tree immediately beside it. The tree provides low benefit in its current position and limits the effective landscaping of the rear garden. Proposed replacement planting with appropriately scaled species (including silver birch and pleached trees) to maintain privacy and improve the long-term benefit for both ourselves as occupants of 107 and our immediate neighbours where the tree hangs over a seating area and they significantly prune the tree on their side.
